Farmer Named All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention

USC junior guard Desmon Farmer was named a 2003 All-Pac-10 honorable mention selection, the Pac-10 announced on Monday (March 10).
Farmer finished the regular season averaging 18.4 points overall (fourth in the league) and 20.4 in the Pac-10 (third in the league). He's also fourth in free throw percentage in league games (84.3%) and first in three-pointers made per game (2.61).
It is Farmer's first Pac-10 honor and marked the fifth year in a row USC has had at least one player honored on either the first team or honorable mention list.
Oregon's Luke Ridnour was selected Player of the Year while Arizona State's Ike Diogu was named Freshman of the Year. Stanford's Mike Montgomery and Arizona's Lute Olson were named Co-Coaches of the Year.
Joining Ridnour and Diogu on the All-Pac-10 team were Stanford's Julis Barnes, Arizona's Jason Gardner and Luke Walton, Oregon's Luke Jackson, UCLA's Jason Kapono, Oregon State's Philip Ricci and California's Joe Shipp and Amit Tamir.
In addition to Farmer, the honorable mention list included Arizona's Rick Anderson, Channing Fyre and Salim Stoudamire, Stanford's Josh Childress and Justin Davis, Oregon State's Brian Jackson, Arizona State's Curtis Millage and Tommy Smith and Cal's Brian Wethers.
Named to the Pac-10 All-Freshman team were Arizona's Hasaan Adams and Andre Igoudala, Cal's Richard Midgley, Washington's Nate Robinson and ASU's Diogu.
