Bruin Diving Completes First Day at NCAA Zone E Championships

After the first day of competition at the NCAA Zone E diving championships, held in Oklahoma City, OK, two Bruins finished in the top-10 of the three-meter springboard finals. Senior Regan Gosnell was the highest Bruin finisher, placing fifth with 479.85 points. Freshman Paige Thompson placed seventh scoring a personal best 470.85 points. Freshmen Amanda Blong and Sara Clark placed 11th and 18th, respectively, with 440.25 and 400.45 points.
Gosnell will await until Saturday to for the announcement of three-meter qualifiers (non-automatic) for the NCAA Championships, held next weekend in Auburn, AL.
Coach Tom Stebbins' Bruins will continue competing tomorrow at the Oklahoma City Community College Pool in Oklahoma City, OK.
