Tickets for 2004 NCAA Basketball Events On Sale March 24

Seattle, WA - March Madness returns to Seattle next year when Washington plays host to segments of both the men's and women's NCAA Division I Basketball Championships. Tickets for both events will go on sale to the general public Monday, March 24 through the Husky Ticket Office.
Washington will host the first and second rounds of the 2004 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championships at KeyArena on March 18 and 20 in 2004. Tickets are $150 each (plus a $4 processing fee per ticket) and include two sessions on Thursday and one session on Saturday. Approximately 9,000 tickets will be available to the public for the event.
Bank of America Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion will be the site for the 2004 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball West Regional Championship. The games will be held either March 27 and 29 or March 28 and 30. The NCAA will determine the exact dates prior to next year's tournament. Tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for children high school age or younger (and college students with official college identification card). There is a $6 processing charge per ticket. Each ticket package includes both sessions.
Ticket orders for either event may be mailed (Husky Ticket Office, Box 354070, Seattle, WA 98195-4070), placed over the Internet at www.gohuskies.com, faxed to 206-616-1761 or placed in person at the Husky Ticket Office at 101 Graves Building on Montlake Boulevard north of Bank of America Arena and Husky Stadium. Tickets may be purchased by cash (not through the mail), check (payable to University of Washington), or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Everyone in attendance at the NCAA Championships must have a ticket, regardless of age.
No single session tickets are offered for either event. There is no limit on the amount of tickets that may be requested.
The application deadline for tickets is April 27. In the event the demand for tickets exceeds the allotment, a random selection process will be held to allocated tickets. If the events are not sold out by April 27, sales will continue.
Game times for both events will not be announced until the week of the tournament.
