Men's Swimming Rounds Out NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

AUSTIN, Texas - Washington capped off the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships with junior Luke Ekhoff (Portland, Ore.) placing 20th in the 200 breaststroke for the best finish for the Huskies over the three-day meet.

Ekhoff fell short of his ninth-seed time (1:56.88) with a time of 1:58.40 in this morning's preliminary race. Last season, he garnered All-America honors in the event with a ninth place finish.

The Huskies finish return home with four top-20 finishes, including Derek Rose (Forest Grove, Ore.) with 29th place finishes in the 100 butterfly (48.36) and 100 backstroke (49.13) and Ekhoff with a 28th place finish in the 100 breaststroke (55.18).
