Varsity Eight Crew Enters Rankings At No.7

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The USC women's rowing varsity eight crew enters the rankings at No. 7 with 365 votes in the first US Rowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division I Varsity Eight Coaches Poll of the season.
Washington, the defending national champion in the varsity eight, received 13 first-place votes to claim the top spot in the Division I poll. Four other schools earned first place votes including No. 2 Princeton with three first-place votes and third-ranked Stanford, who received six first-place votes.
USRowing is the non-profit membership organization recognized by the United States Olympic Committee as the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the U.S. The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association's official partner is www.row2k.com.
The Women of Troy travel to San Diego this week to compete at the San Diego Crew Classic on Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, at Mission Bay.
