Women's Golf In Tenth After Two Rounds At ASU/PING Invite

Tempe, Arizona - The Stanford women's golf team shot a 307 this afternoon at the ASU/PING Invitational in Tempe, Arizona to bring their two-round total to 609 to stand in 10th place overall. California leads the field with a 581 followed by Texas (585) who is four strokes off the pace. Rounding out the top five are UCLA (586), Southern California (592) and Arizona (594).
Leading the Cardinal was junior Kim Kouwabunpat who is tied for 15th overall with a two-round total of four-over par 148 (71-77). Teammates Kim Rowton and Angela Rho are tied for 43rd individually with a 153. Kelly Husted and Stephanie Lue (competing as an individual) are tied for 58th overall (155). Sophomore Wendra Liang is tied for 71st (158).
Charlotte Mayorkas of UCLA still leads the individuals with a seven-under par 137. California's Sarah Huarte is second with a 140. Louise Friberg, from Washington, and Jessica Reese, from Texas, are tied for third (143). Vicki Laing, from California, is fifth (144).
The final round will take place tomorrow at the Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Arizona.
