Ducks Finish in 15th Place at Ping/ASU Invitational

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Oregon women's golf team shot 314, solidifying a 15th place finish with a score of 313-307-314-934, after three scheduled rounds in the Ping/ASU Invitational, held at Karsten Gold Course in Tempe, Ariz, a par 72, 6,183-yard course.
Freshman Therese Wenslow advanced four places finishing in a tie for 35th overall. Wenslow was the Ducks top finisher, with a final score of 77-75-75-227. After carding Oregon's best score in the second round, freshman Michelle Timpani dropped two places to 53rd in her final round, scoring 80-74-77-231.
California earned a first place finish on the final day with a team score of 288-293-295-876. One stroke behind, Texas finished second with a team total of 285-300-292-877. UCLA's Charlotte Mayorkas, held on to her lead finishing first with a final score of 66-71-72-209, seven under par.
