ARIZONA grabbed the No. 1-ranking in both major polls (ESPN.com-USA Softball/USA Today-NFCA) after a weekend sweep of No. 2 UCLA ... A Pac-10 school has held the No. 1 spot in both polls throughout the entire season thus far ... No. 3-ranked WASHINGTON heads to Oregon for a non-conference tilt with Portland State, and a weekend against No. 22/20 OREGON and OREGON STATE (UR/No. 24) ... No. 6/5 CALIFORNIA will head down I-80 for a doubleheader with Sacramento State, and then fly into the desert to face the top-ranked Wildcats and No. 12 ARIZONA STATE ... No. 16/13 STANFORD hosts Cal Poly followed by a tango with Arizona and Arizona State ... The Conference is 198-47-1 (.807) against non-conference opponents this year.
