No. 4 Bruin Women Face No. 5 USC Saturday at Trojans' Loker Stadium

This Saturday (April 26) - Jeanette Bolden's UCLA women's track & field team, No. 4 in the U. S. (Trackwire), this Saturday (April 26) will travel across town to face No. 5 USC in the annual Bruin/Trojan dual meet at USC's Loker Stadium. Field events will start at 11 a.m.

Series History: The Bruin women lead the overall series with USC 16-3 and in her career as the UCLA women's head coach, Bolden is now 9-0 vs. USC (USC's last victory over the Bruins was 1992, 80-30 at Drake Stadium).

A track & field media luncheon to highlight the meet will be held Tuesday, April 22 at noon in the Varsity Lounge in Heritage Hall at USC.

The UCLA/USC dual meet will be taped delayed by Fox Sports West (FSW2 - May 3 (5 p.m.), May 5 (8 p.m.), May 7 (1 p.m.), May 10 (5:30 p.m.)/FSW - May 11 (2 p.m.), May 13 (noon), May 17 (6 p.m.).

The Lexus Gauntlet - The Lexus Gauntlet Trophy will be awarded to the institution that wins the most head-to-head competitions in all sports between the two schools. Currently USC leads the competition 50-30 (10 points, 5 women/5 men, are in the track & field competition). For more information on the Trophy and current point standings, go to
