Cal Hosts 7 v 7 Tournament

BERKELEY - The California women's soccer team hosts its annual 7 v 7 Tournament Sunday, April 27 at Memorial Stadium in Berkeley.

Admission is free to the public.

Collegiate teams competing include Cal, Stanford, Santa Clara, Saint Mary's, San Jose State, UC Davis, Pacific and Nevada. In addition, several club teams are participating - the Nighthawks, East Bay Power and the Marin Rockers.

Games begin at 8:25 a.m. and continue throughout the day. The championship game is slated for 6:15 p.m.

Each team is allowed six field players and a keeper with free substitutions at half field. Games consist of two 15 minute halves and are played on a 70 x 50 field. The Memorial Stadium field will be divided into two 7 v 7 fields.
