Arizona Men's Tennis Completes Play In The Pac-10 Championships

OJAI, Calif. - The No. 32 Arizona men's tennis team completed competition in the Pac-10 Championships. The Wildcats competed in the semifinals of the main doubles draw, three individual back draws and one doubles back draw.

In the doubles main draw semifinals; junior Whi Kim and sophomore Paul Warkentin fell to KC Corkery and James Pade of Stanford, 8-4.

Sophomore Colin O'Grady, redshirt freshman Tim Mullane and sophomore Chris Gessner competed in the back draw for Arizona. O'Grady fell to Sven Swinnen of Oregon, 6-0, 6-4. Mullane fell to Nick Weiss of Washington, 6-4, 6-1. Gessner lost to Dean Wallace of California, 6-4, 6-0.

With the completion of the Pac-10 Championships, Arizona waits for NCAA selections for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Championships. The first and second rounds will take place on May 10 - 11, site to be announced.
