OSU Earns 13th Seed At NCAA Regional Championships
For the ninth time in the last 10 years, the Oregon State women's golf team will compete in the NCAA West Regional Championships, the NCAA announced Monday.
The Beavers will be seeded 13th among the field of 21 teams when competition begins May 8-10 at Arizona State's Karsten Golf Course. The top eight teams from each region advance to the NCAA Championships, hosted by Purdue University May 20-23.
In its last postseason appearance, OSU finished 10th at the 2001 West Regional, which was played in Corvallis at Trysting Tree Golf Club.
OSU's best finish at the regional level came in 1998, when it finished 10th to move on to the NCAA Championships for the first time in school history.
