Pac-10 Track and Field Athlete of the Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Pacific-10 Conference outdoor track and field athlete of the week honors for the week of April 21-28:
MEN'S TRACK: Wes Felix, USC. Ran a Pac-10 leading and personal-best time of 20.79 in the 200 meters and a personal-best 10.24w as he won both sprints at the UCLA dual meet. He also ran the second leg on USC's 4x100 relay that won in 39.90 and ran a leg on the 4x400 relay. Felix is a sophomore from Valencia, Calif.
MEN'S FIELD: Adam Jenkins, OREGON. Tossed the javelin a personal-best 221-4. at the Oregon Invitational. The mark is the best in the Pac-10 this season and eighth all-time on the Oregon career list. Jenkins is a junior from Gladstone, Ore.
WOMEN'S TRACK: Sheena Johnson, UCLA. She won the 100m hurdles with a personal-best and Pac-10 leading 13.34. It's the seventh best time in school history. She also won the 400 meter hurdles with a Pac-10 leading time of 57.79. In addition, she ran the opening leg of UCLA's winning 4x100 meter relay that posted a time of 44.52, second best in the Pac-10 this season. Johnson is a junior from Stafford, Va.
WOMEN'S FIELD: Erin Williams, USC. Posted the Pac-10's best outdoor mark this season in the long jump as she leaped 19-9 3/4 to capture the event title at the UCLA dual meet. Williams is a senior from Seattle, Wash.
