April 29, 2003
CORVALLIS, Ore. - The starting times for the final games of Oregon State's Pacific-10 baseball series at UCLA and Arizona have been changed to 12 noon to accommodate the Beavers' travel plans. OSU will play at UCLA this weekend, with games Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 12 noon; all three games can be heard on KEJO-AM (1240).
Oregon State returns home to play its final Pac-10 home series against Arizona State on May 12-14, with games May 12 at 5 p.m., May 13 at 5 p.m. and May 14 at 4 p.m. That series is being played on a Monday-through-Wednesday schedule to adhere to Pac-10 rules prohibiting traveling or playing during a member school's final exams week.
After being allowed a two-day break following the ASU series, the Beavers then close their Pac-10 schedule at Arizona on May 17-19. That series, to be played on a Saturday-through-Monday schedule, is now set for games May 17 at 7 p.m., May 18 at 7 p.m. and May 19 at 12 noon.
