OREGON STATE needs just two wins to secure a .500 or better winning percentage, and perhaps an NCAA Regional Tournament berth ... The top-ranked ARIZONA Wildcats take an eight-game tear into the Bay Area, where they will face the No. 9/6 CALIFORNIA (USA Today-NFCA/ESPN.com-USA Softball poll), who will look to defend Levine-Fricke Field and close the six game gap between itself and the Conference-leading ?Cats ... No. 15/12 STANFORD, the only squad to hand the No. 1-ranked Wildcats a Conference loss, plays host to the Desert programs as well ...No. 16/15 ARIZONA STATE will try to snap a seven game skid against Cal and Stanford, two teams they?ve beaten once already this season ... Meanwhile, No. 21/19 OREGON and OSU embark on the Conference?s toughest road trip, visiting No. 5/4 WASHINGTON in Seattle, and heading south to take on No. 2 UCLA at Easton Stadium, where the Bruins have won five straight.

Burnum, from Canby, Ore., led the Beavers offensive attack, hitting .500 (8-for-16) as OSU went 3-2 over the weekend. The thirdbaseman had three home runs, six RBI and five runs scored, while drawing a pair of walks, and adding a stolen base. She went a perfect 2-for-2 in Oregon State?s upset over No. 12 Arizona State, and homered in back-to-back at-bats in a doubleheader against Portland State.

Hollowell, from Suisun, Calif., went 3-0 over the weekend, and rang up 30 strikeouts in 23 innings pitched. Against Oregon, she struck out nine batters and gave up only two hits. Versus Oregon State on Sunday, Hollowell pitched 11 innings, striking out 12 for her tenth double-digit strikeout performance of the year.

The Beavers swept a doubleheader against the Vikings, defeated No. 12 Arizona State and lost two versus the No. 1 Wildcats. Top-ranked Arizona defeated the No. 20-ranked Ducks and swept two against Beavers on the road.
