Beavers Advance To NCAA West Regional Championships

For the fifth time in seven years, the Oregon State men's golf team has advanced to the NCAA West Regional Championships, the NCAA announced Monday.

The Beavers will be seeded 21st among the 27-team field. The tournament runs May 15-17, and is hosted by the University of Washington at Washington National Golf Club. The top 10 teams advance to the NCAA Championships, hosted by Oklahoma State May 28-June 1.

In its last postseason appearance, OSU recorded the best finish in school history when it tied for 12th at the NCAA Championships. The Beavers also hosted the NCAA West Regional that year, and tied for sixth to advance to the championships.
