Former OSU Goalkeeper Colin McMillen Named Volunteer Women's Assistant

Colin McMillen has been named the volunteer assistant coach for the Oregon State University women's soccer team, head coach Steve Fennah announced Monday.

McMillen will work with OSU's goalkeeping unit.

McMillen was a four-year letterwinner on the OSU men's squad from 1994-98, playing in a total of 35 games, starting 29.

The Eugene, Ore., native currently coaches the South Eugene High School boys team, which he guided to a state co-championship in 2002.

McMillen also serves as the head goalkeeper coach for the Oregon United Soccer Academy.

McMillen's playing experience included stints with the semi-professional Willamette Valley Firebirds of the United Systems of Indoor Soccer Leagues in 1996 and 1998.
