All eyes will be on Oklahoma City this week, as the nation's eight best softball squads will compete for the NCAA Championship ... All games will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2 ... This season marks the fifth consecutive year at least four Pac-10 teams will compete in the Women's College World Series: ARIZONA, CALIFORNIA, UCLA and WASHINGTON will play for a National Championship, after going 4-0 in their respective Regional brackets ... Arizona will be making its 16th straight trip to the WCWS (16th overall, 47-18 all-time record), while Cal (eighth overall, 11-12 all-time record) and UCLA (NCAA record 20th overall, 71-20 all-time record) will both be making their fifth consecutive 'Series appearances ... Washington makes its first trip to the 'Series since 2000 (sixth overall, 12-8) ... The Pac-10 has sent a team to the WCWS championship game an incredible 19 of 21 years ... In eight of those years, two squads have represented the Conference in the final game ('91, '92, '93, '95, '96, '97, '99, '01, and '02) ... Seven Pac-10 squads were ranked in the final regular season ESPN.com/USA Softball poll: Arizona at No. 1, UCLA at No. 2, Washington at No. 6, followed by No. 7 Cal, No. 14 Stanford, No. 16 Arizona

ARIZONA (54-5, 19-2 - 1st in Pac-10)
2003 NCAA Record: Region 1 (Tucson, Ariz.), 4-0
Last WCWS Appearance: 2002, 3-1 (2nd place)

Arizona will make its 16th straight Women's College World Series appearance (longest active streak in WCWS history), all under Pac-10 Coach of the Year Mike Candrea, who has led the 'Cats to the WCWS each year since 1988 ... Arizona is 43-28 all-time in the World Series ... The 'Cats have six NCAA titles ('91, '93, '94, '96, '97, '01) ... UA has seven players on its roster with WCWS playing experience: senior SS Lovie Jung, Junior C Mackenzie Vandergeest, sophomore 3B Jackie Coburn, and sophomore OF's Courtney Fossatti, Crystal Farley and Allyson Von Liechenstein ... Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year freshman P Alicia Hollowell is currently on a 16-game winning streak, and she is one of only 12 UA pitchers to win 30 games, also she's No. 2 on UA's single season strikeout chart (348 K's), trailing Jennie Finch (366, 2002) ... SS Lovie Jung was named Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Region 1 Tournament in Tucson ... The Wildcats have posted their 10th consecutive 50+ win season.

CALIFORNIA (45-18, 10-11 - 3rd in Pac-10)
2003 NCAA Record: Region 7 (Ann Arbor, Mich.), 4-0
Last WCWS Appearance: 2002, 4-0 (1st place)

The defending National Champions are making their fifth straight WCWS trip, and the eighth overall ... California is undefeated in its last 12 NCAA Tournament games ... The squad has not allowed a run in 47 consecutive postseason innings, dating back to 2002's NCAA Tournament ... they've advanced to the World Series in the last four seasons ... Sophomore P Kelly Anderson was named Most Outstanding Player at the NCAA Regional Tournament in Ann Arbor ... The Bears also had a Pac-10 high seven players named to the All-Region squad, including sophomore Kaleo Eldredge, sophomore Vicky Galindo, senior Veronica Nelson, senior Courtney Scott, sophomore Chelsea Spencer and freshman Haley Woods ... Eldredge hit a team-best .370 average against Pac-10 teams this year, which will be key, considering three of the seven other WCWS teams are from the Pac-10 ... Galindo has swiped 17 bases this year ... The last time a Cal player stole 16+ bases in a season was Keri Kropke in 1993 ... NCAA season and career walks recordholderNelson is leading the squad with a .374 average and a .682 slugging percentage despite being walked 92 times ... Cal joins Louisiana-Lafayette as the only WCWS teams that defeated three ranked opponents en route to this year's 'Series.

UCLA (49-6, 17-4 - 2nd in Pac-10)
2003 NCAA Record: Region 2 (Fresno, Calif.), 4-0
Last WCWS Appearance: 2002, 1-2 (5th place)

UCLA hurlers junior Keira Goerl and freshman Michelle Turner tossed a combined perfect game to shutout Colgate, 8-0 at the NCAA Regional tourney in Fresno ... Goerl picked up a school record 34th win on May 17 against Michigan State, passing Lisa Fernandez (33, 1993) and Courtney Dale (33, 1999), and was named Most Outstanding Player for the Regional Tournament .... Six Bruins were named to the All-Region squad including senior Toria Auela, Goerl, senior Tairia Mims, junior Stephanie Ramos, junior Claire Sua and Natasha Watley ... UCLA is a perfect 20-for-20, winning every NCAA Regional they've appeared in ... The Bruins have the most NCAA Tournament wins in the nation, with a 125-24 record ... They also lead the nation in WCWS appearances (20), WCWS wins (71) and last but not least, NCAA Championships (8) ... Watley, the Pac-10 batting champion, is also one of the three finalists for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award ... Head coach Sue Enquist is the NCAA Division I's winningest coach, at 745-136-1 (.845).

WASHINGTON (46-14-1, 9-12 - 5th in Pac-10)
2003 NCAA Record: Region 5 (Lincoln, Neb.), 4-0
Last WCWS Appearance: 2000, 1-2 (5th place)

Washington is 12-8 all-time in five trips to the WCWS ... They've finished runner-up on two occasions ('96 and '99) ... Seniors Jaime Clark and Traci Tawney are the only Huskies on the squad who have been to the World Series (2000) ... The Huskies have won their last three games on the eight-run mercy rule, including back-to-back shellackings of Iowa, 11-0 ... In the Regional round, Washington outscored its opponents 45-1 ... Senior P Tia Bollinger and junior C Kristen Rivera were named Co-MVP's of the NCAA Regional tourney in Lincoln ... Clark and freshman Aimee Minor recieved All-Region status as well ... Rivera was also named first team Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Pacific Region.
