Adria Engel Upset In NCAA Singles Quarterfinals

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State University women's tennis player Adria Engel saw her illustrious Sun Devil career come to end as she was upset in the NCAA singles quarterfinals by Mississippi's Mira Radu, 6-1, 7-5, Wednesday morning in Gainesville, Florida.

The four-time All-American from Glen Ellyn, Illinois, ends her career at ASU as the all-time leader in wins (132) and only the second four-time All-American selection in singles. Engel finished her senior season with a 29-11 overall mark, averaging an amazing 33 wins during her four-year career.
