Kanan Sanchez Suspended By Riley

May 30, 2003

CORVALLIS - Kanan Sanchez, Oregon State's junior starting right guard, has been suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules, it was announced Friday by head football coach Mike Riley.

Sanchez has started 21 straight games for the Beavers at right guard. The door remains open for Sanchez to be reinstated to the OSU squad if he meets certain conditions.

Sanchez was listed No. 1 at right guard on the Beavers' depth chart following spring drills, followed by redshirt freshman J.C. Ronnfeldt and senior one-year letterman Matt Davis.
