Beaver Baseball Camps Are Coming Up
June 3, 2003
CORVALLIS, Ore. - Registration is now underway for the 2003 Beaver Baseball Camps that will be held this summer on the Oregon State University campus at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. There is a Day Camp on June 16-18 for players age 7-13 and an Overnight Camp on July 27-31 for players age 8-17.
Beaver Baseball Camps are designed to provide the best possible instruction for players of all ages and abilities. Each camper will receive specific instruction on how to play the game and how to improve himself or herself on and off the field. Skills and techniques will be improved through individual and small group instruction, drills, and game experience.
Beaver Baseball Camps instruct players in all positions and game situations. The proper techniques of hitting, pitching, catching, infield, outfield, baserunning and team defense are taught. Students will receive individual instruction on the correct techniques of the game with emphasis given to each camper's primary areas of interest. Instruction is adjusted for age and ability levels and student safety is stressed at all times.
Games are played each day and are a great opportunity for students to incorporate the techniques they have been taught and to improve their confidence in their abilities. The Day Camp runs June 16-18 from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. each day and tuition for the camp is $125.
