June 3, 2003

Jeanette Bolden's UCLA women's track & field team, last week tied for No. 3 in the nation (Trackwire), has qualified 15 athletes in 12 events for the upcoming 2003 NCAA Outdoor T & F Championships, held June 11-14 in Sacramento.

Last weekend at Stanford, the Bruin women won the team title at the 2003 NCAA West Regional meet and on May 17-18 at USC, UCLA won the 2003 Pac-10 T & F Championships, for the seventh consecutive year.

For the last two years, the Bruins have placed second at the NCAA Outdoor, and under Bolden, who is in her 10th year as the UCLA women's head coach, the Bruins have a total of eight Top three finishes.
