5 Bears Earn Pac-10 All-Academic Honors

BERKELEY - Cal placed five players on the 2003 Pac-10 All-Academic softball team, the conference office announced Thursday.
Infielder Eryn Manahan, who has compiled a 3.42 GPA in sociology, was a first team selection, earning the honor for the first time in her career. In addition, sophomore pitcher Kelly Anderson (3.26 GPA in legal studies) and senior catcher Courtney Scott (3.16 GPA in American studies) were second team choices.
