Two Former OSU Men's Rowers Competing For U.S. Teams

Former Oregon State men's rowers Joey Hansen and Patrick O'Hea will represent the United States in international competition this summer.
Hansen, a 2001 OSU graduate and three-time U.S. National Team member, will row in the men's eight at the World Championships in Milan, Italy August 24-31. As a member of last year's men's eight, Hansen helped the boat to a bronze medal at the World Championships.
While at OSU, Hansen was a three-time first-team All-Pacific-10 selection.
O'Hea is currently rowing in the men's quad at the Pan-American Games on Rincon Lake, outside of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. O'Hea's boat is in the six-boat final; racing ends August 10.
O'Hea earned two letters at OSU from 1998-99.
