Aug. 21, 2003

TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona men's basketball player Chris Dunn is no longer enrolled in school and will not compete in 2003-04.

Dunn, a 6-foot-6, 170-pound freshman from Hobbs, N.M., sat out last season as a redshirt. He averaged 17.4 points, 12.3 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game at Hobbs High School as a senior in 2001-02.

Arizona returns eight letterwinners, including two starters, from last season's 28-4 club that won the Pac-10 Conference championship and advanced to the NCAA West Regional final. The Wildcats are scheduled to open the 2003-04 season in McKale Center on Monday, Nov. 24, against Northern Arizona.
