Men's Soccer Team Ranked No. 1 By Soccer America

Soccer America magazine has chosen UCLA as its pre-season No. 1, joining the NSCAA/adidas in ranking the defending NCAA champions as team to beat in 2003.

The Bruins will face seven other Soccer America Top 25 teams, including No. 2 Maryland on the road on Sept. 5, No. 6 Stanford on Oct. 19 and 24 and No. 7 Penn State in the season opener Aug. 29 at Cal State Fullerton. The Bruins also meet up with ranked No. 11 California, No. 17 New Mexico, No. 19 Virginia and No. 22 Portland.
