'I didn't know how our team would respond to an unknown opponent,' said Cal coach Rich Feller. 'We know we have room for improvement, but it wasn't a bad effort for our first match of the season.'
The Bears will next face host UC Irvine, Sunday, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. at Crawford Court.
