CROWD: Oregon State is expecting a capacity crowd (35,362) at Reser Stadium. The Beavers are on a streak of 17 straight games sold outat Reser Stadium, dating back to USC on Sept. 30, 2000.

TICKETS: A total of 1,800 reserve seat tickets, priced at $33.00 apiece, remain available for the OSU-New Mexico State game. Contact theOSU Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800 GO BEAVS or 541-737-4455 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day for tickets. Tickets can also bepurchased on line at www.osubeavers.com. The ticket office (107 Gill) will be open at 8:30 a.m. on game day, while the Reser Stadium ticketbooths will open four hours prior to kickoff at 11:30 a.m. Gates will open at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

TELEVISION: The game will also be televised on a delayed basis by Fox Sports Net NW with Rich Waltz calling the play-by-play withformer Beaver quarterback Steve Preece serving as the analyst. Fox Sports Net NW will show the replay of the game on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.Fox Sports NW covers the states of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.

OSU STREAKS: Oregon State is on a one-game losing streak overall. The Beavers have a four-game winning streak at Reser Stadium, atwo-game Pacific-10 Conference winning streak, a one-game road losing streak and a one-game Pac-10 road winning streak. Oregon State haswon 16 straight non-conference games at Reser Stadium, dating back to 1996. The Beavers' last home non-conference defeat was againstMontana on Sept. 7, 1996. Oregon State is 33-18 (.647) in its last 51 games and has won 23 of its last 26 (.885) home games. The Beavers' 6-0record at Reser Stadium in 2000 amounted to the most wins ever in one season at home, before OSU reached six wins (6-1) in 2003. OSU was 5-1at Reser Stadium in 1999, 4-1 in 2001 and 6-1 in 2002. Oregon State is 25-13 (.658) in the current decade. The Beavers did not win 25 games inthe 1990s until September 18, 1999. Head Coach Mike Riley has a 7-1 non-conference record as OSU's head coach.

ARIZONA STATE SOLD OUT: Oregon State's game with Arizona State on Sept. 27 is sold out, along with home games againstBoise State (Sept. 20) and Washington (Oct. 18). Individual tickets also remain for OSU's games with Arizona (1,200) on Nov. 1 and Stanford(2,000) on Nov. 15.

OSU-NEW MEXICO STATE SERIES: Oregon State and New Mexico State have played one time previously, 2001 at Las Cruces.The Beavers defeated the Aggies 27-22 on the road in 2001. Mike Riley will be making his first coaching start against New Mexico State as ahead coach. The Aggies' head coach, Tony Samuel is 0-1 vs. Oregon State. Samuel, now in his seventh year as head coach at New MexicoState has an overall record of 27-43.

THREE BOWL TRIPS IN FOUR YEARS: Oregon State has played in three post-season bowls in the last four years, starting withthe Oahu Bowl in 1999, the Fiesta Bowl in 2000 (bowl played Jan. 1, 2001) and the Insight Bowl in 2002. This is the best post-season stretch inBeaver football history.

EAST-WEST SHRINE GAME: Oregon State's Richard Seigler and Dwan Edwards have already accepted an invitation to play in theEast-West Shrine game scheduled for Pacific bell Park in San Francisco on January 10 at 11:00 a.m.

YLINIEMI ON LOU GROZA WATCH LIST: OSU place kicker Kirk Yliniemi is one of 30 preseason candidates on the Lou GrozaWatch List. He is a candidate for the 12 th annual Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award, presented by the FedEX Orange Bowl

Steven Jackson ON DOAK WALKER WATCH LIST: Junior tailback Steven Jackson is one of 39 players on the DoakWalker Watch List. The Doak Walker Award is giving annually to the nation's top running back.

JACKSON ON WALTER CAMP LIST: Steven Jackson is one of 42 players on the initial Walter Camp Football Foundation 2003Player of theYear 'Watch List.' The list will be narrowed to 10 semifinalists in early November.

JACKSON GETS HEISMAN MENTION: Steven Jackson made ESPN's preseason list of top 10 Heisman Candidates as thenetwork listed the OSU running back No. 7 on its preseason Heisman show last.

Richard Seigler ON LOMBARDI WATCH LIST: Senior linebacker Richard Seigler is one of 40 candidates on theLombardi Award Watch List. The Rotary Lombardi Award is given annually to the outstanding lineman in the country.

SEIGLER MOVES TO THIRD ON OSU CAREER DEFENSIVE POINT LIST: By scoring 23 � defensive points vs.Fresno State, Richard Seigler has moved into third place on Oregon State's career defensive point chart, passing Jeff Schneider's previousthird place total of 997 1/2.

Bill Swancutt CONTINUES SACK ATTACK: Junior defensive end Bill Swancutt has recorded at least one sack in each ofhis last four games, plus he has recorded a tackle for loss in each of his last four games. Swancut has produced at least one tackle for loss in14 of his last 15 games. The only game he has been blanked in that period was against Stanford last year. He has recorded at least one sack in11 games during his career and at least one tackle for loss in 17 games. He has played in 25 career games, including 14 as a starter. He tied theOSU season record for sacks in 2002 with (11 �) and tackles for loss with (21). Swancutt finished fourth in the Pac-10 during the 2002 in sacksand tackles for loss.
