Women's Hoops Season Tickets to Go On Sale Sept. 22

TEMPE, Ariz. - Season tickets for the 2003-04 Arizona State women's basketball season will go on sale starting Monday, Sept. 22.
Fans can purchase season tickets by calling the Sun Devil ticket office at (480) 965-2381 or (480) 965-9868 or by coming to the ticket office starting at 9 a.m. on Sept. 22.
Customers may call the ticket office prior to Sept. 22 to make any seating requests or to put a deposit on their season tickets, while ASU's ticket office will begin contacting those customers on Sept. 22 with the best available seating based on their request.
Prices for season and group tickets have been reduced this season with season tickets ranging from $170 for floor seats, $85 for reserved seats and $68 for faculty/staff tickets. Fans can also purchase a Sparky Card for $75 ($60 faculty/staff and $50 for juniors/seniors), which provides one general admission seat for all ASU Olympic sporting events throughout the year (excluding football and men's basketball).
Fans purchasing season tickets by Oct. 13 will be entered in a drawing to win a trip for two to Los Angeles for the Sun Devils' games at UCLA and USC on Jan. 15 and 17. Other prizes include an autographed basketball, an autographed basketball jersey, four floor seats to the Feb. 21 game vs. Stanford, four loge tickets to the Nov. 1 football game vs. California and a foursome of golf at ASU Karsten Golf Course. A drawing for the prizes will be held in mid-October with winners being contacted by phone and posted on ASU's official website, www.thesundevils.com. Some restrictions may apply.
Single-game tickets for ASU women's basketball will go on sale on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
The 2003-04 Sun Devil schedule features 16 home games starting Friday, Nov. 21 and Sunday, Nov. 23 when the Sun Devils open the regular season vs. Akron and Grambling State, respectively.
ASU will play host to the Wells Fargo Holiday Classic on Dec. 5-6, while Pac-10 Conference play begins on Dec. 27 and 29 with Washington State and Washington. UCLA, USC and intrastate rival Arizona come to Tempe in January, while California, Stanford, Oregon and Oregon State round out the Pac-10 schedule in February.
The Sun Devils return all five starters from last year's team which made a school-record fourth consecutive postseason appearance. In addition to returning nine letterwinners from last year's team, Arizona State regains junior Betsy Boardman who missed all of last season with a knee injury and adds a recruiting class that was ranked in the top 25 in the nation.

2004 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament - March 20 & 22, 2004
Arizona State will host the first and second rounds of the 2004 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament March 20 and 22 at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe.
