Men's Golf Ties For Third At The Ridges Intercollegiate

Johnson City, Tenn. - Bradley Shaw and Joshua Wooding each shot a three-over 219 to lead the No. 17 USC men's golf team to a tie for third at The Ridges Intercollegiate held at The Ridges Country Club.

USC shot 871 (+7) as a team to tie with Clemson, 17 strokes behind tourney champ Florida (854). TCU was second (859), while South Carolina was fifth (872).

Shaw, a sophomore, and Wooding, a freshman, tied for 25th to lead the Trojans. They were 13 strokes behind individual champion Bill Haas of Wake Forest, who shot 206.

Also for USC, junior Ben Hayes tied for 34th (221), junior Nico Bollini tied for 39th (222) and sophomore Tyler Ley tied for 52nd (225).

The Trojans are next in action at the Carpet Capital Collegiate Classic in Rocky Face, GA., on Oct. 3-5.
