Alan Gordon Named Pac-10 Player Of The Week

For the third time in his career, Oregon State men's soccer player Alan Gordon has been named the Pacific-10 Conference Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference Tuesday.
Gordon recorded two goals and an assist in wins against Gonzaga and St. Mary's over the weekend.
The defending Pac-10 scoring champion, Gordon scored the game's final goal in a 4-2 comeback win over Gonzaga on Friday, and he and Christian vanBlommestein assisted Robbie Findley's equalizer early in the second half. Gordon also tallied a season-high eight shots.
Gordon scored the game-winner in the first half of OSU's 2-0 win over St. Mary's on Sunday.
The Gilbert, Ariz., native ranks 10th on OSU's all-time points list with 40 points (17 goals, 6 assists) after only 27 games - Gordon transferred to OSU from Yavapai Junior College in Arizona prior to the 2002 season.
Gordon earned two Player of the Week honors last year.
