Stanford Defeats A.S. Vicenza, 82-64

VICENZA, Italy - Redshirt junior Chelsea Trotter (San Dimas, CA) had team-highs of 24 points and nine rebounds to lead Stanford University to an impressive 82-64 exhibition victory over Division 1A professional club A.S. Vicenza on Thursday night.

Trotter was 8-of-11 from the field, 1-of-1 from 3-point range and 7-of-7 from the foul line to score in double figures for the fourth time in as many games.

Stanford had at least four players in double figures for the fourth time on the trip, including 15 points from junior Azella Perryman (Anchorage, AK), 12 from junior Kelley Suminski (Chester, NJ) and 11 from senior Nicole Powell (Phoenix AZ).

The Cardinal, which is now 3-1 on the 12-day tour, will play its final game of the trip on Sunday in Castiglione Dello Stiviere against Division 2A club Basket Montigarda.
