UA Men's Tennis Eases Through Round Three at the Laguna Niguel Futures

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. - The Arizona men's tennis team competed in day three of the qualifying rounds in the Laguna Niguel (Calif.) Futures. The Wildcats won both matches, earning both men a spot qualifying round.

No.9-seeded Carl Hagman defeated Brenn Auld in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4. Sophomore Roger Matalonga defeated Aaron Falarico, 6-1, 6-2. Individually the Wildcats are now 6-2 in the Laguna Niguel Future, while Hagman and Matalonga improve to 3-0 on the season.

Hagman is scheduled to play Daniel Sebescen in the qualifying rounds, while Matalonga will face Cameron Ball.

The Wildcats will take the courts again Monday, Sept. 29, the Laguna Niguel (Calif.) Future.
