New Men's Basketball Tickets on Sale Now

BERKELEY - With invitations to each of the last three NCAA Tournaments, Cal men's basketball has been a hot ticket in the Bay Area for quite a while. And with a Top 10 recruiting class joining the squad this year, the 2003-04 campaign is sure to be as exciting as ever.
So if you want to ensure that you will be able to see all the action in person, now is the time to reserve your spot in Haas Pavilion.
New men's basketball season tickets are on sale online at www.CalBears.com, over the phone at (800) GO BEARS and in person at the Cal Athletic Ticket Office at 2223 Fulton Ave.
Season tickets are $374 for 17-game home slate, which begins with an exhibition game vs. Athletes in Action Nov. 10. Faculty/Staff packages are available for $300 and young alumni can purchase season tickets for $255, while Cal student tickets are $85 (plus $5 for The Bench membership). In addition, season parking permits are available for $204.
Individual tickets for non-conference games are also on sale, and tickets for single Pac-10 games go on sale Nov. 19. Prices are $22 for all games, except Stanford, UCLA, USC, Arizona, Arizona State and Oregon, which are $28 each.
Visiting Haas Pavilion during the non-conference portion of the schedule are Cal Poly Nov. 21, Brigham Young Nov. 26, UC Irvine Dec. 3 and Wyoming Dec. 9, in addition to the Golden Bear Classic Dec. 27-28.
The Bears' Pac-10 opener is Jan. 2 vs. Washington, and the home season concludes against Oregon State Feb. 28.
Cal, which finished 22-9 overall and 13-5 in the Pac-10 last year, is ranked in several preseason Top 25 polls heading into this season. The Bears return three starters, led by All-Pac-10 forward Amit Tamir, and their freshman class of Leon Powe, Ayinde Ubaka, Dominic McGuire and Marquise Kately has been rated as high as second best in the country.
