Meghan Jones Released From Portland Hospital

PORTLAND, Ore. - Hospital officials have announced that Oregon State gymnast Meghan Jones was discharged Tuesday morning from Legacy Emanuel Hospital & Health Center, where she had been undergoing treatment for injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle on September 20.
According to the hospital's press release, Jones was transferred to Providence Medford Medical Center in her hometown of Medford, Ore., where she will enter the in-patient rehabilitation program.
'We're excited that Meghan has been transferred to Medford. The news of her progress is encouraging, and the team and staff are excited that she's able to move to the next stage of her rehab,' said OSU gymnastics coach Tanya Chaplin. 'We're looking forward to the day she's able to return to Corvallis.'
