Niland Advances to Quarterfinals

After a shaky (6-3,6-2) opening loss to #1 seed Bendikt Dorsch of Baylor, Conor Niland has rebounded nicely winning two matches in a row, including a (6-3,2-6,7-5) victory in the second round of the ITA All-American Classic.
Niland defeated Paul Ciorascu of Mississippi, by the above score, in round of 16 consolation action. He will now move on to face Robert Searle of Rice for a shot at making the semis.
Niland is now 4-2 on the season in singles competition, and hopes to be 7-2 by the end of action on Sunday.
