Glass, who accounted for exactly half of Arizona's 60 kills on Friday, wasnearly unstoppable en route to snapping her own three-game-match schoolrecord of 28 kills set last December against UT Arlington in the first roundof the NCAA Tournament. She also finished with just eight errors on 53 swings fora .415 hitting percentage and a match-best 14 digs to boot
Other standouts for Arizona included sophomore classmates JenniferAbernathy, who finished with 11 kills and two service aces, and Bre Ladd, who tallied nine kills on .353 hitting.
However, the night belonged to Glass and her school record tying thirdcareer 30-plus kill match, which also moved her into a tie for second on thecareer 20-plus kills match list at 24 with former Wildcat Terry Lauchner.
Glass, who has played in just 51 matches in her career at Arizona, needsjust six more outings with 20 or more kills to tie Barb Bell's four-yearschool record of 30.
Glass and the Wildcats will have little time to savor their first Pac-10weekend sweep of the year, as they will depart for Hawaii on Saturday for ameeting with the second-ranked Rainbow Wahine on Sunday. First serve for thematch in the Islands is set for 8 pm Tucson time.
