The Eight race was only an hourafter we finished racing in the pairs, and with only four freshrowers in the boat - we were surprisingly able to hold a consistentlyhigh rate, keep a sound rhythm, and apply enough power to competebow-ball to bow-ball with most of the other openweight crews in ourrace.'
