Regan Gosnell Invited to the 2004 World Cup Diving Trials

Bruin school record holder Regan Gosnell has been invited to compete at the 2004 World Cup Diving Trials, held in Huntersville, NC, Thursday, January 15, to Sunday, January 18. Gosnell is one of the approximately 75 divers who will compete at the World Cup.
The 2004 World Cup Diving Trials is a competition to select the USA Diving Team that will compete at the 14th FINA Diving World Cup taking place in Athens, Greece, from February 18-22. It is also considered a preview of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Diving that will take place June 7-13 in St. Louis. Competition will be held in the men's and women's 3-meter springboard, 10-meter platform, synchronized 3-meter springboard and synchronized 10-meter platform. The top two finishers in each individual event and the top team in the synchro events will be named to the World Cup Team.
During her Bruin career, Gosnell set school records in the one-meter (294.15), three-meter (511.1) and platform (443.95). She was also a two-time All-American in the three-meter and platform at last year's NCAA Championships.
