UCLA Rounds Out Regular Season in Oregon . . .
Second-ranked UCLA (14-1-3; 6-0-1 Pac-10) heads to Oregon this week to play its final two matches of the regular season. On Friday, the Bruins will take on Oregon State (7-9-2; 3-3-1) in a 2:00 p.m. match in Corvallis, Ore. UCLA owns a 6-2 advantage in the all-time series, winning last year at Drake Stadium 4-1. Following that match, the Bruins will travel to Eugene, Ore. for a Sunday showdown with Oregon (9-9-0; 3-4-0). The Bruins own a 5-1 advantage in that series.
Bruins Claim at Least a Share of 2003 Pac-10 Title . . .
With a 6-0-1 conference record, the Bruins are guaranteed at least a share of the 2003 Pac-10 title. The Bruins can claim the title outright with a victory over Oregon State or Oregon this weekend. The only team with a chance to tie UCLA is Arizona State, which needs two victories this week. It is the fourth Pac-10 title for UCLA and first since 2001.

Mora Enjoys Outstanding Week, Ties UCLA Single-Season Assist Record . . .
Bruin forward Iris Mora tallied eight points on the week helping No. 3 UCLA to victories over Loyola Marymount and USC. Against LMU on Wednesday, she scored two goals in the first 10 minutes of the match, pacing the Bruins in a 5-0 victory. She also had an assist on the last goal of the match, giving her five points on the evening. On Sunday, Mora had a hand in both Bruin goals in a 2-0 victory over crosstown rival USC. She assisted on the first goal of the match and in doing so, set the UCLA single-season record for assists with 12. She scored UCLA's second goal in the 65th minute of play. Mora finished the week with eight points on three goals and two assists. She currently leads No. 3 UCLA in scoring with 30 points (9g, 12a).
Bruins Back up to No. 2 in Both Major Polls . . .
With a pair of victories last week, and a Notre Dame loss, UCLA moved up a spot to No. 2 in the NSCAA/adidas poll. In addition, the Bruins moved up two places from No. 4 to No. 2 in Soccer America's weekly rankings. Regionally, the Bruins remained at No. 1 in the West, ahead of No. 2 Portland and No. 3 Santa Clara. Washington and Utah round out the top-5.
