PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State men's basketball team will host MBC Nikolaev from the Ukraine Monday to tip off the Cougars' exhibition season.

The game will be played at Beasley Coliseum. Game time is 7 p.m., and admission is free.

The Cougars are led by senior point guard Marcus Moore (Inglewood, Calif.). An All-America candidate, Moore ranks 19th on the WSU all-time scoring list with 1,066 career points.

Moore's supporting cast includes a trio of juniors in guard Thomas Kelati (Walla Walla), and forwards Chris Schlatter (Lafayette, Calif.) and Shami Gill (Mission, British Columbia) as well as senior center Ezenwa Ukeagu (Coral Springs, Fla.).

The game will provide Cougar fans the first opportunity to Dick Bennett coach a Washington State team.
