Walnut Creek, Calif. - Stanford outside hitter Ogonna Nnamani has been named Pac-10 Volleyball Player of theWeek for Nov. 3- 9, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Nnamani, a junior from Normal, Ill. helped the Stanford Cardinal to a 3-1 victory over Bay Area rival California in the team's only contest of the week. She collected a match-high 29.5 points. The double-double was her 11th this season and the 26 kills gives her double figures in kills in all 22 of Stanford's matches this season.

The victory over the Golden Bears catapulted the Cardinal into second place in the Pac-10, behind USC. It also enabled the Cardinal to climb one spot in the AVCA/coaches poll to number seven.

This is the second weekly honor for Nnamani, and Stanford's 49th Player of the Week all-time.
