Oregon State quarterback Derek Anderson now has the top two places on OSU's lists of single-season passing leaders and single-season total offense leaders. After his 271 yards passing on Saturday, Anderson has passed for 3,250 yards this season; he set the school record with 3,313 yards last season. After his 233 yards of total offense on Saturday, Anderson has 3,154 yards total offense this season; he set the school record with 3,082 yards last season. On the passing list, he moved past Jonathan Smith (3,053 yards, 1999) and on the total offense list he moved past Smith (2,957 yards, 1999) and Erik Wilhelm (2,926 yards, 1988).

Oregon State running back Steven Jackson moved into fourth place on OSU's list of single-season rushing leaders. After his 18 carries for 68 yards on Saturday, Jackson has 1,334 yards this season; he passed Bill Enyart (1,304 yards, 1968) on the list. Jackson also moved into second place on OSU's list of single-season all-purpose running leaders; with his 68 yards rushing and 71 yards receiving, he has 1,714 yards all-purpose running this season, trailing only his school-record 1,855 yards last season. Jackson passed Ken Simonton (1,705 yards, 1999) and Tim Alexander (1,591 yards, 1998) on the list.

Oregon State wide receiver James Newson moved into fourth place on OSU's list of single-season pass reception leaders. With his five catches on Saturday, Newson has 68 catches this season; that moved him past Steve Coury (66, 1979).

The last time Oregon State had lost a Civil War in a year ending in '3' had been 1963, when Oregon took a 31-14 win in Eugene. OSU had won 17-14 in 1973 in Eugene, tied the Ducks 0-0 in 1983 in Eugene, and won 15-12 in 1993 in Eugene.
