Reggie Williams to Compete in All-Star Challenge

Seattle - Washington record-setting wide receiver Reggie Williams is one of the college football stars who will participate in the Capital One College Football All-Star Challenge in Houston. The event will take place on Friday, Jan. 30 at the Johnson Space Center in front of a live audience of NASA Community members and will air on the day of the Super Bowl on FOX Sunday, Feb. 1 at 9:30 a.m. PT. Dick Stockton, Bill Maas and Jason Garrett will host the event.
The field for the Capital One All-Star Challenge also includes Texas wide receiver Roy Williams, Notre Dame running back Julius Jones, Michigan State quarterback Jeff Smoker, Tennessee quarterback Cassey Claussen, Kentucky quarterback Jared Lorenzen, Michigan quarterback John Navarre and Michigan running back Chris Perry.
The eight players are split into four teams. Each team consists of one quarterback and one wide receiver or running back. There are four separate events within the College Football All-Star Challenge and scores are cumulative, leading to one overall winner. Last year's winner was the team of Ken Dorsey and Brandon Lloyd (both now with the San Francisco 49ers).
The College Football All-Star Challenge has featured some of the all-time best in college ball. Previous participants include, Donovan McNabb, Edgerrin James, Daunte Culpepper, Charles Rogers, Quincy Carter, and Patrick Ramsey among many other all-stars.
