Why did you come to Washington?
KM:
Because Washington is a great school and it is close to home. I also loved the gymnastics team.

What is something about the gymnastics team that no one would know?
KM:
That we have a life-sized poster of Garth Brooks in our locker room.

If you could change one thing about your sport, what would it be?
KM:
I would get rid of biased judges, unless they are biased towards us.

Do you have any pre-meet rituals or superstitions?
KM:
I always wear my lucky underwear from Carmen, my roommate.

Who is your favorite UW athlete in another sports?
KM:
Brian Bauer, my boyfriend from the baseball team, and Erica Schelley from the women's basketball team.

Where is your favorite place to compete besides home?
KM:
Cancun.

Who is the first person you call after a meet?
KM:
My parents.

What is your favorite skill that you do?
KM:
A double layout on floor.

What would you be doing right now if you weren't doing gymnastics?
KM:
I would be a sen-sai in karate.

If you could go on any reality television show, which one would it be?
KM:
The Amazing Race.

What piece of clothing would you never be caught dead wearing?
KM:
Muscle tee shirts.

What is the most overused word or phrase in your vocabulary?
KM:
Delicious.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
KM:
A teacher.

Now what do you want to be?
KM:
Happy.
