Bears Defeat Aggies, 4-3

The Cal men's tennis team got back on track by defeating No. 13 Texas A&M, 4-3, in College Station. The Bears record improves to 4-6 on the season. The win avenges a 4-0 loss the Bears suffered to the Aggies earlier in the season.

The Bears were led by Veress Balazs who won his fourth match in a row, evening his record at 9-9, on the season. Veress went the distance, defeating Mohamed Dakki, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Jacob Leivent picked up his eleventh win of the season, while the the doubles teams of Patrick Briaud and Veress and Tyler Browne and Daniel Sebescen registered victories over ranked opponents.
