Men's Golf Seventh After First Round Of Pac-10 Championships

Tucson, Ariz. - The USC men's golf team shot an 18-over 378 on Monday and are in seventh after one round of the 2004 Pac-10 Men's Golf Championships hosted by the University of Arizona at The Gallery at Dove Mountain Golf Club.
The Trojans are 21 strokes behind two teams tied for first--Arizona and Arizona State (357). Washington is third (365), Oregon is fourth (368) and UCLA is fifth (371).
Junior Nico Bollini leads USC after shooting an even-par 72 to tie for 11th with five other golfers. Brock Mackenzie of Washington shot a five-under 67 and is in first place after the first round. Three other golfers are tied for second after shooting 69.
Also for the Trojans, sophomore Taylor Wood shot 73 to tie for 16th, junior Ben Hayes shot 76 to tie for 31st, senior Scott Oxandaboure shot 77 to tie for 36th, freshman Joshua Wooding shot 80 to tie for 50th and sophomore Tyler Ley shot 83 to tie for 56th.
The top five out of six individual scores make up the overall team score.
