PAC-10 MIDSEASON REPORT CARDS
At midseason, the Pac-10 coaches preseason poll looks to be correct in the sense that STANFORD was tabbed the No.1 team in the league and at this point is leading the Conference...There have been some surprises though as WASHINGTON is just a half game back of the Cardinal, with the preseason poll guessing the Huskies would finish fifth... OREGON STATE has made the biggest jump from the preseason coaches poll as they sit in third place and were originally picked to finish eighth... All polls aside though, there is still much to be played out on the field especially with the thrilling match ups this weekend including second place WASHINGTON at third place OREGON STATE, STANFORD hosting WASHINGTON STATE, the battle for Los Angeles bragging rights with USC at UCLA, and ARIZONA traveling to CALIFORNIA...
