Three Bruins Complete SoCal Amateur

Two former Bruins finished among the top five individuals at the 105th Southern California Amateur Sunday at Hillcrest Country Club.
Former All-Americans Steve Conway and Roy Moon placed third and fourth, respectively, with two-over par rounds of 72. Conway's 72-hole total was 284 (+4) and Moon's was 285 (+5). Sophomore Chris Heintz tied for 22nd at 297 (+17) after posting a final round score of 72.
Tom Hogarth of Northridge won the tournament, firing a final round score of 69 for a four-round total of 269 (-1). Scott McGihon placed second at three-over par 283 after posting an even par round of 70 on Sunday.
