Olson Moves Up to Third at Pacific Coast Amateur

Eugene, OR - Washington sophomore men's golfer Erik Olson moved up one position to third place on the leaderboard after two rounds of play at the 38th Pacific Coast Amateur Championship. This year's 72-hole, stroke play event is being contested at the Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore. The tournament concludes Friday.Olson carded a 2-under 69 for the second consecutive day for a 36-hole total of 138. He trails co-leaders Spencer Levin (New Mexico) and Michael Putnam (Pepperdine) by one stroke.Husky junior James Lepp is tied for 20th at 2-over 144 after turning in a 2-over 73 during Wednesday's play. UW sophomore Alex Prugh is tied for 33rd at 5-over 147. He shot 4-over 75 during the second round.Live scoring is available at www.pacificcoastamateur.com.
